Now when you post to your forum, you can automatically update your Twitter status with a link back to your post.  Here's how it works:

You need Visigroups account to link to your Twitter account, so login or create a Visigroups account using the Login menu.





Next, link your Visigroups account to your Twitter account.





You'll see a window appear at the top of the screen.  Click on the Connect button, which will take you to Twitter to authorize the connection.





Twitter will ask you if you want to authorize the connection between your Visigroups account and your Twitter account.




When you authorize your account, you'll be sent back to Visigroups, where we'll verify the connection.  You can now post a Twitter update directly from Visigroups to test the connection.




With your account connected to Twitter, every time you post a new forum topic or blog entry, you can update your status with a link back to your new post.  We'll automatically create a bitly link for you.




It's a great way to keep your friends connected to your community!
