I have an existing account which i can access.  However, a friend tried to create a new account via 'register' and it does not create an account for him.  I tried it myself- doing a quest1 account and it also failed.  

Did the following using Register and choosing 'create account'

put in the "username'
 
put in 'password'
put in 'verify password'

put in 'email' 


hit the 'create account' button at the bottom and it just sits there and does nothing.  


I have tried this on both the mac and ibm using different browsers and the results are the same. 

Please advise.
