Several new questions - re Network 54 and Visigroups

a) If I am paying to keep ads off of my N54 forum (i.e. Premier user), do I need to do the same to my Visigroups account?

b) When will the tool be made available to import the posts from my old Network 54 forum to my visigroups forum?

c) Is it possible to have non-registered members alongside registered members on a Visigroups forum? One of the advantages of the N54 format was the flexibility of not insisting on registration, and permitting "drop-ins".

I have been a paying customer at N54 for many years and happy to see Version 3 FINALLY arrive, but it will be useless if I can't import my old messages over.

I fooled around a bit this morning with the customization tools on the forums and think this will be exactly what I want, but I would like to integrate my existing Network54 solutions into the proposed Visigroup applications.

We don't currently have Premier for Visigroups like we do for Network54, but until then we will extend ad free services on Visigroups to exisiting Network54 Premier users.

b) When will the tool be made available to import the posts from my old Network 54 forum to my visigroups forum?

End of January as an estimate - with emphasis on estimate - as with a newly released product priorities can change and certain things can always take longer than expected. I will say that the import tool is close to the top of the list as far as priorities are concerned.

c) Is it possible to have non-registered members alongside registered members on a Visigroups forum? One of the advantages of the N54 format was the flexibility of not insisting on registration, and permitting "drop-ins".

Yes, it's possible to allow non-registered members to post in the forum, and the post author will appear as "Guest".

Awesome, thanks very much for the timely responses. I understand the need for estimates - January is reasonable; we've waited so long (years, as you know) for V3 that a month or two now will not be insurmountable.
