Is it possible to generate discussion board posts via email.  For instance I would like to have an email address that when I CC and email to that address it automatically starts a new discussion.  Likewise re: and fwd: msgs that follow with the same subject would also become part of the thread.  Thanks in advance for your response.

In short, no.   The longer answer is we've considered adding it as a new feature.  We support email notifications, so the ability to reply to those would be useful. 

About posting new topics (vs replying) we plan to implement the Atom protocol.  For example, you could use MS Word to post to your forum with Atom.  It's especially useful for mobile phones, as a number of mobile apps support Atom.  It's likely that you'll see this implemented first before being able to reply to topics via email.
